OUR PROCESS

The step by step we take to bring your project to fruition. We guarantee transparency and understanding at every stage of the process.

1. The First Step

Get in contact with us via phone or email and send us your plans. We will then contact you to discuss your project and organise a meeting on-site to walk through your plans for free. This meeting usually goes for an hour or two.

2. Estimating Stage

After the on-site meeting, we can provide you with an estimate off your plans and cost of works for $550.00 including GST. This is an estimated price of the total cost of works from the plans and anything we had discussed on-site. It will include some of the selection allowances eg. kitchen joinery allowance, as well as an estimated construction time frame.

3. Working Through The Finer Details

After the estimating stage and if you are happy with the cost of works, we then suggest getting final plans drawn by your architect or designer that can be building approved plans. You will also have to obtain engineering plans, which will include the structural details and specification relevant to your building and this may or may not be provided by your architect or designer. If you have any questions or concerns during this stage, we are always happy to help.

4. Full Proposal Stage

Once you have approved plans, we can provide you with a full proposal at a price depending on the size of your job. This proposal will provide you with the total cost of works and it will detail out your selections and allowances. Included with your full proposal is access to our project management system, Co-Construct, which is an online tool that you can use to view all the specifications, allowances and use it as a forum to communicate within.

5. Contract Stage

After the full proposal stage and you have decided that we are the builders for you, we then draw up the contract and meet with you to finalise all details. Please note that all costs relating to the estimate and full proposal will be deducted from the total contract price.

6. Building Process

Once contracts are signed, we set a start date for the works to begin and provide a detailed schedule on Co-Construct so you can be up-to-date. Chris and the team work together with you to build your dream home.
